Growth in Movies
Our Racers have shown creativity and tenacity in videorecording their voyages and then editing it up into interesting and compelling video content. Looking at YouTube, there were just 2 videos from 2004. For 2010, almost sixty! We figure that by 2016 there will be more video hours than racing hours.
Sharing
Many have been kind enough to share their work with the world on the internet. The list below is a selection of what we know about. If yours is not on the list, please send a note to webmaster@pacificcup.org so we can add it in.
The Videos
- Our LiveStream channel, graciously upgraded to "Pro" by the folks at LiveStream, contains an ongoing stream of video from a number of our races on demand. Be sure to see the newest video from Stuart Hooper of Coyote. We used LiveStream last race for live broadcast of various events and hope to do so again in 2012

There are a number of playlists on YouTube that you may enjoy.
- 2010 Pacific Cup has the most, including Pac Cup winner Horizon's montage, as well as many submissions from Brainwaves, Pegasus, and others. Which do you like best?
- 2008 Pacific Cup contains some great footage from California Girl and others. Check out the squall run!
- The 2006 Pac Cup list contains some great movies from Morpheus and the fleet.
- The lone two videos from 2004, from Morpheus and Mari Cha show two rather different ways to cross the ocean.
What will you be videotaping?
