For the 2010 Pacific Cup race, SETI is sponsoring celestial information for the racers, as well as encouraging an interest in our quest.
Reflecting our heavy reliance on radio-astronomy, and our efforts to detect signs of intelligent life out there, the 2010 Pac Cup communications vessel VALIS will be awarding a prize for most effective communication, based on signal quality and content.
All participants and spectators are invited to visit SETI at its website, and to consider attending "SETIcon", a conference held August 13-15 in Santa Clara.
