I've been a driver on an Olson 30 team sailing in the Berkeley Beercan/Chowder races for the last season and a pick up sailor for a couple of season before that. I also own a Flying Dutchman dinghy (that I'm always working on). Lately I'm crewing on an Express 37. I'm working on my nav/weather/radio skills and I will make time for training sails. I can drive and trim and stand watches. Driving is zen. I also dinghy race and I've helped out on two deliveries which included some night sailing. I took the Pac Cup training/safety seminars at Cal Maritime in February. Two weeks of freeze dry sounds tasty.
