Carol A. Keiper

As a marine biologist, I have thousands of nautical miles of at-sea experience doing research and naturalist work. I have been sailing on the east coast and west coast for over thirty years. I've done a blue water passage from Hawaii to Tahiti on the Alaska Eagle, and have done another passage from Portosin Spain to Palma Majorca. I LOVE to sail and do well standing watches; I don't get seasick and can cook. Most importantly, I LOVE standing watches and steering. The work that I do puts me at sea more than on land and this is what I love!
