  Steve Chamberlin, boat preparation guru, world sailor, and sometime member of the SailMail board of directors will be offering a SailMail class at Richmond Yacht Club on December 5.  10:00 am.  Steve will be joined by Eric Steinberg of Farallon Electronics.   This should be a real treat, as Steve teaches you all the tricks of this incredibly versatile program.

Did you know you can:

• Use SailMail to get your email through ANY slow connection (such as a cell phone in Turkey?)
• Use SailMail and SailDocs to get weather reports, gribs, and condition charts?
• Use SailMail to update your blog and post pictures?
• Use SailMail to order flowers?
• Use SailMail to pick the best frequency and station to use to make contact?
• Use SailMail to safely remove barnacles from your propshaft?  (This may not be true)

For those venturing offshore, a properly-installed communications system is vital.  Knowing how to use it is essential.
