Question one:  When is our start?  Answer in detail is here [1]. Division stats are to the right.  Monday is a big day.

Question two: What will the weather be?  Visit our forum [2] and check some of the resources [3]posted.  Guess what?  It's starting to look pretty good.  Blowing like mad right now, actually.  Those of us sailing the, ahem, full-figured vessels, are feeling pretty good!

Question three: Can I still get tickets to parties? Yes! RSVP to the Marina Village party [4] (gratis) and buy tickets tothe Blue Water Sailing/Mount Gay Rum Bon Voyage [5] party online.  You may want to exercise haste: tickets are 2/3 sold out and we have to charge Great Shirtsignificantly more for tickets after Tuesday.  News flash: we'll be selling garments, including the Jim DeWitt Pac Cup shirt, and Jim will be there to autograph his work.

Wooooo. FiiiiireQuestion four: What about that Hawai'i stuff?  Access to fabulous Kaneohe Yacht Club [6] will be by guest pass.  We'll distribute these at the Skippers' meeting.  Tickets to the events are still on-sale of course!  Visit our cyber-hale [7] to get tickets to Jazz night [8], the Gilligan's Island Tour [9], the Luau [10], Mount Gay night [11], and the Awards Gala [12].  And don't forget the 1703 follies each arrival day at 5:03 pm, where we celebrate the arrivals to date and listen to their official arrival limerick for the contest.

Question five: When will the 2010 Pacific Cup start?  July, most likely.  You should be part of the planning and execution!  Join the PCYC [13].  Volunteer!  We need race runner types, party organizer types, technical types, organizer types, financial types.  Volunteer by email [14], or (more fun) suggest a nomination [15] to the nomination committee.

Question six: I have pictures.  Want 'em?  Darned skippy we do!  We are especially gratified by shots taken during the parties and on the water. Please help us to document this race by taking lots of pictures before, during and after the race.

We will have a location at KYC where you can drop off your memory card.  We'll copy'em, archive 'em, and share 'em online and hopefully in an awards night slide show. Your cards/cd's/thumb drives will be returned within 24 hours at the same dropoff/pick up location.  Thank you!!!  If you're so inclined, you can visit our in-development picture archive [16].

Question seven:  Are these real questions or did you just make them up?  We make them up.

Question eight: When will the links for tracking and news be online?  Well, first take a look at the answer to question five.  For 2008, however, the answer is: within a day or so.
