Thanks to Valis and California Girl for hosting the radio check on sunday.
I was glad that my radio somewhat worked but my SSB location was too close to the motor and I couldn't hear anything. I moved the SSB and would like to give it another whirl. We have beer can races on wednesdays here in humboldt bay so if anyone wants to exchange garbled noises with me shoot me an email or give me a call. Other days of the week will work too.

Robb, we will be at the boat all day Saturday the 15th if you want to do a radio check. We have done three so far but I can use the practice. :)

Delicate Balance (WDD6832) will be out on Saturday from 10-4 or thereabouts doing some sailing and sail testing. I'll fire up the SSB around 1300 local (PDT) on 4A and/or 8A if anyone wants to try to communicate.

I had a snafu during my radio check as well. There is a SF HAM net on Wed's (today) 7pm local 14.250 USB. I will try working there and see if I can get someone to go to 4A.
