Acacia's Arrival from Walt and Lisa Niemczura

According to the Pacific Cup web site, Acacia reported their finish at 15:10 (3:10 pm) HST on July 28th, 2008. Congrats Acacia and crew!

I just spoke with Bob who reports that he has just had his 3rd mai tai at the Kaneohe Yacht Club in Kaneohe Bay, Oahu, Hawaii.

Good morning!

We have a very nice night.  Our concerns about the weather were unfounded.  Most of the night was clear without any significant squalls.  My personal theory about the weather is that the low that was spawning a lot of the earlier weather passed us by.  In any case, it was great sailing last night with no fire drills.  Everyone got a good night sleep and we made good time.
