I've navigated and/or watch captained 15 races to Hawaii, starting with the first ever Pac Cup in 1980. Sailing C.V. at http://www.well.com/user/pk/resume.html. But I'm happy to sail in any capacity on a good boat. I'd consider the cook-navigator combo on a boat not quite big enough to have a full-time navigator and a full-time cook.
Also talk to me about emergency rudders, if you haven't built one already. My designs are cheap, light and effective, and don't leave as many holes in the back of the boat.
