35 years of marine experience in 70 footers down to lasers. Lots of ocean racing, local club racing, Principal Race Officer, and commercial fishing. Have been on the oceans for extended periods of time.
Degreed mechanical engineer who knows how to work on shipboard systems (diesels, hydraulics, electrical, & navigation). Can cook also if need be. Have worked both ends of the boat and a very compenent mariner.
