If you've got the time, we recommend a cruise in the islands. Information about cruising the Hawaiian Islands is available on the Website and more can be found when you get here. The Information Desk and the Website will have information to help you provision and ready your boat for the return trip. Propane is available on the Windward side at only one location, Kaneohe Propane Sales and dry ice only at GasPro in Honolulu.

SHIPPING THE BOAT HOME ?

Remember, NO West Marine Pacific Cup yacht may haul out or use the hoists at KYC. Our hoists are not rated for much weight and our insurance does not cover non-club member use. There are two boatyards on Oahu, one in the Ala Wai Harbor (Waikiki) (808) 946-4213 and one on Keehi Lagoon (near West Marine) (808) 845-6465. Both have Travel lifts capable of hauling any boat - Keehi up to 165 tons. Both yards are "do-it-yourself" operations although machine shop, painting, and other services are available. For those exploring the Islands, there is also a large boatyard at Kona on the Big Island. If you have a trailer and can put your boat on it by using a launching ramp, there is one at KYC. Remember that you can't get to the ramp if your boat draws more than 7 feet. Please contact the Staff Duty Officers for permission, scheduling and assistance.

We here at KYC are looking forward to the best West Marine Pacific Cup yet! See you in July.
