Each day's data are collected by the communication vessel Cayenne and transmitted to shore via SailMail or Inmarsat C. The data will then be emailed to the website for processing and publishing.

As published in the Communications Plan, the roll call will commence at 0900 PDT. It will take roughly an hour to complete the collection and confirmation of the data. Then it will take about an hour to email the data to our processing center. Add another hour of CPU time (we have a ton of charts to prepare!) and you can expect the presentations (charts and tables) to be ready by about 1200 noon PDT. And if anything goes wrong we will try to get the charts posted my 0300 PM PDT at the latest.
